Rhetorical devices:

-  Metaphor:

+ The heart: the way people consider a thing with so much natural feelings, which is deep down from their souls about anything in life (love, friendship, family, ...)

+ The brain: the way people consider a thing logical and tactical.

=> Message: In our life, it seems to be hard at times to decide when to use your heart and when to use your brain. Both of them are necessary, and they exist in parallel in each of people. The problem is, the heart is weak and easy to be hurt while the brain is strong and smart. As a result, we have to learn how to balance between the heart and the brain, and when to let each of them lead your thoughts in order to fulfill your life.

2/ Simile:

=> Message: In life, there are many difficulties that force you to cope with. No matter how hard they are, love will give you strength to overcome all. Even when life gives you thousand reasons to give up, show that you are both tough enough to keep holding on and moving forward. Instead of giving up, think positive, learn and stand together. That's your life, your destiny and you are the only one to decide how it would be.

Item3: STORY

         In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it.
          Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables.On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been.
         The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.

- Metaphor: 

+ The huge rock: the obstacle in our path.

+ Gold: the present for the good person that accepts the challenge. 

 => Message: In life, people will face many obstacles. Even though they are big or small, almost all people normally choose to ignore them or just run away. They just don't want to waste time trying to do something without seeing the result first. However, every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one’s condition. If you don't try, you'll never know what you can do. It depends on ourselves to capture that chance and take a step to change, or just skip it and no miracle happens.
