Item 1: Picture
According to
the text “Dont talk while he drives”,we can easily guess that the woman is
calling for her husband.
Rhetorical
devices:
*The
overstatement: Blood is splashing through the cell phone. It is clear that a
big accident has happened to her honey.
Message:
Take care of
your family with the right way. Be patient instead of urging them when they are
driving. Although it is a simple act which shows your care, it can be dangerous
for your relatives
Item 2: Poem

and Cold
A woman who my mother knows
Came in and took off all her clothes.
Said I, not being very old,
'By golly gosh, you must be cold!'
'No, no!' she cried. 'Indeed I'm not!

Union is strength. If you are alone, it is quite dangerous to face to cruel
opponents. On contrary, if you make use of the power of union, you are the
strongest people.
Hi Mai, I'd like to give you some of my comments:
ReplyDelete- ITEM 1: First of all, I was impressed by your picture as it's quite scary and eye-catching with blood :-s. However, I think the overstatement could be metaphor as well (the blood: the accident or danger in the road where people are driving). About the message, It warns people who are using cellphone while driving.
- ITEM 2: could you make the message clear :'D ? Honestly, I still do not understand and confuse about its meaning.

ReplyDelete- Item 1: Actually I'm very impressed by the picture. But I don't agree with your message. In my opinion, the blood implies the accident or even the death. It's so dangerous if people using mobile phone while driving

Hello Mai. I want to give some general comments on your entry:
ReplyDeleteItem 1: I do think the message is conveyed very strongly through the picture u posted. But i think you should state correctly the message of the picture. It's just simply about the risk of making a phone call while driving, and the lesson learnt from the picture is that: do concentrate when u are driving.
Item 2: i have same opinion with Thao coz i really don't understand the message of the poem :D
Item 3: the video is good! From my point of view it's very meaningful and u figured out the true message implied in the video. Congrats :D

Firstly, that's about item 1 and item 2. In my opinion, 2 items above seems to be unclear. After reading them, maybe I understand but not all. They will be better if you can complete the idea about them , we can acquire the message effectively.. Besides,you also should explain in detail your message after showing the picture in item 1 or the poem in item 2.
About item 3: I do agree with message in this item. The video is not only nice but also special. People can easily learn a meaningful lesson about the strength of union.
