to say that when the man often have high-skilled job in a variety range
such as doctor, teacher or artist ; whereas the job woman
do totally less than. Their jobs are only discribed in 2 pictures, while
the man’s are eight pictures. In addition, the woman’s jobs are unskilled or
semi- skilled like teacher or work related to agricuture. As for many people,
woman are often seen as householdwives/

video is deaf-mute, therefore, she is provoked by friends. It reflect the discrimination to the disabled in society.

ReplyDeleteYour entry is quite interesting and you do it very concisely. I only have a comment for the Item 1. In my opinion, this picture only expresses the prejudice because, as you say, it shows that people usually think men can do high-skilled jobs while women only do unskilled and semi-unskilled ones. It only ends at the thought, there is no action to say that it is a discrimination.

ReplyDeleteOverall, i'm appreciated your entry because of the variety of types of bias but there are some mistakes according to my personal thoughts
1st item:you made best because there are many types of discrimination such as age, sex and career's responsibities.
2nd item: you should point out what type of discrimination is.
3rd item: you seem to focus on gender discrimination a lot. i think you can choose another one to make it various

ReplyDeleteAfter reading through your entry, I have some opinions about it.
The first item, I agree with you that men often have high-skilled jobs whilst the womens jobs are unskilled or semi- skilled. However, I think that it should be steotype. Most people think that men should work hard and women just do household chores, so that men play an important role in society while women seems to be no necessary. It leads to the fact that women are always looked down on.
I have the same main idea about the clip as you, but there is a mistake of punctuation you should pay more attention.
In my opinion, you should explain the proverb more clearly. In this entry, you just showed its meaning. I think some more detail will be better.
Anyway, you have done it well. I hope that my comments help you improve your entry next time.
